What Periskope is

Periskope is a WhatsApp management platform for teams. It connects the regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business App numbers a business already uses, by scanning a QR code as a linked device, and brings every chat and group from those numbers into one shared inbox. It does not use the WhatsApp Business API, so there is no template approval, no 24-hour reply window and no per-message fee. Periskope is used by 5,000+ businesses across 50+ countries.

WhatsApp MCP server

Periskope runs a hosted MCP server at https://api.periskope.app/mcp. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients can connect with OAuth and read, search and act on WhatsApp chats, groups, contacts, tickets, tasks and the knowledge base, limited to the numbers the user selects. Pricing

Priced per user and per extra phone. Starter is $25 and Pro is $35 per user per month on monthly billing, or $15 and $25 per user per month on annual billing. The first connected phone is free and each additional phone is a separate license. Every license includes 3,000 bulk message credits per month; Pro includes 5,000 AI credits per license. What Periskope is not

• It is not a WhatsApp Business API provider. WhatsApp Business API numbers cannot be connected.

• It does not provide the green verified badge, OTP or authentication messages, or Click-to-WhatsApp ad tooling. For those, an official API platform is the better fit.

• Messages are sent from the connected number, so WhatsApp’s own usage rules and account limits still apply.
