It's Day 2 of Launch Week 11 at Periskope, and today we're talking about the desktop.

We've been heads down rebuilding the Periskope console from the ground up. The UI is cleaner, navigation is more intuitive, and the overall experience is faster and smoother than before. Initial load times are improved so your team spends less time waiting and more time working.

But it's not just a redesign. We've shipped several new features alongside it. Here's everything that's new.

🌙 Dark Mode

Periskope now supports a full dark theme across the entire console.

Switching is instant. Click the theme button at the bottom of the left sidebar, or go to Settings > Preferences to toggle from there.

⚡ Universal Search

Finding the right message, chat, ticket, or contact used to mean knowing exactly where to look. Not anymore.

Universal Search lets you search for any keyword across your entire Periskope workspace, chats, messages, tickets, and contacts, all from one place. 

We've also improved search performance significantly, so results are faster and more responsive than before. For teams handling hundreds of conversations across multiple numbers, this saves a ton of time every day.

📋 Logs: Better Search and Filtering

Team leads and admins spend a lot of time in logs, whether that's monitoring day-to-day activity, tracking what the AI is doing, or investigating a specific issue. The logs interface now makes all of that significantly easier.

Filter across all log types, select specific time ranges, and combine multiple filters to find exactly what you need.

👥 Contacts: More Control, Less Friction

Managing your contacts just got easier. The contacts screen has been updated with three new additions that give your team more control day to day.

Add Contact: Add a new contact directly from the contacts screen without navigating away.

Internal / External toggle: Classify any contact as internal or external with a single click. You can also right-click any incoming message in a chat to mark that number as internal or external directly from the conversation; no need to go to Contacts.

Bulk delete: Select and remove multiple contacts at once. Clean up your contact list in seconds.

🔔 Notifications: Hear What Matters

Every team works differently, and not every notification is relevant to everyone. 

Notification settings now give you broader, more granular controls so each team member can decide exactly what they get alerted about and when.

Enable or disable specific notification types across your workspace.
