✅ Today we introduce granular team access to ALL WhatsApp chats across your organization. You can now enable team access to all chats of specific phones, all chats with specific labels, or select chats only.

Access Control Roles on Periskope
For each workspace, a user can have one of the following roles:

• Admin - user has access to all WhatsApp groups & chats across all connected numbers

• Member - user has access to a restricted set of groups / 1:1 chats you have given them access to. Read how you can manage access for members in the next section

User roles can be chosen at the time of inviting them (settings > team > Invite team)

Managing Granular Access for Members
You can manage access for ‘members’ at 3 levels:

• Phone level access: If you have multiple WhatsApp numbers connected to a workspace, you can give users access to specific numbers. Users can only see and respond to chats of the selected numbers. You can set this from settings > team > member access (click on 3 dots next to any member)

• Label level access: you can give members access to chats / groups with specific labels. Labels are fully customizable. Users with label level access cannot see groups / chats and contacts with different labels. You can set this from settings > team > member access (click on 3 dots next to any member)

• Chat level access: you can override the levels of access above and give users access to specific groups chats across numbers. You can do this from chat list > select chats > add member (when you right click on selected chats)
